Next time, I would try the GW Bridge, which adds tolls and miles but would require no left turns. The terminal building is not great, but they do what they can. A fun meal for families is the Green Eggs and Ham Breakfast ($10 per adult and $8 per child aged 14 and under). Held in the main dining room, it kicks off with the lively Seuss-a-palooza Parade led by The Cat in the Hat, Thing 1 and Thing 2. You get to nosh on "green eggs and ham," pancakes, French toast, "Moose Juice" and other whimsical dishes inspired by Seuss' books. The characters stick around for meet-and-greets and photo ops.
The design offers additional protections for the little ones, as it is away from any bars, lounges and nightlife spaces. Carnival Celebration also sports some unique theme cabins. There’s a dedicated zone for families aboard Carnival Celebration – the Family Harbor Zone – that boasts its own lounge and larger staterooms on Deck 4 designed just for those travelling with the little ones. The popular Havana Club staterooms return to Carnival Celebration, complete with unique décor and private open deck spaces on Deck 8 that are accessible only for guests staying in the Havana Club-grade staterooms. The Sunshine Casino on Deck 5 midship was popular with passengers on my sailing.
